About Maha Ali

Maha Ali has over 15 years of experience in the field of human resources. In her current role, Maha provides executive-level leadership and guidance to the organization’s HR operations and serves as the lead on all issues related to human resources.
As the head of People, Maha takes a lead role in developing strategic human resources goals on behalf of the organization, assists in the development and evaluation of organization-wide initiatives and recommends new HR approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiencies and services performed.
As the head of Culture, Maha takes a lead role to position UpGlo as an employer of choice in the market. She executes on culture and HR initiatives aimed at advancing the sense of belonging at UpGlo.
Before joining UpGlo, Maha worked in Kuwait as a Senior Performance Management Specialist in a leading retail company with over 10,000 employees. She graduated from Egypt as an Electronics and Communications Engineer, joined a telecom company, fell in love with HR, made a career switch, obtained HR credentials…and the rest is history
