NEW YORKUpwardly Global has taken center stage on the new Cheddar News docuseries, “Ready 4 Work.” This series follows six job seekers as they navigate the U.S. job market. From stay-at-home parents to seasoned professionals undergoing career changes, “Ready 4 Work” explores the challenges and triumphs job seekers face on their paths to meaningful employment. The series premiered on News 12 on September 20 and on Cheddar News on September 21.

The series features Larysa Tsui, an immigrant job seeker working with Upwardly Global to find skill-aligned work. On a national stage, it showcases the potential of immigrant, refugee, and asylee job seekers to contribute their skills and overcome barriers in the U.S. job market. By shedding light on these stories, “Ready 4 Work” draws attention to the importance of inclusive hiring and a more equitable job market for all.
