On July 26, Upwardly Global President and CEO Jina Krause-Vilmar spoke with John Fugelsang on SiriusXM’s ‘Tell Me Everything’. The conversation centered around the recent rejection of the Biden Administration’s asylum policy by a Federal judge, the ongoing issues with the asylum seeking process at the border, and changing demographics within the U.S. workforce.

“For every job opening, we’ve got less than one person that’s unemployed. So for every unemployed person, we have one and a half job openings; we do not have enough people. 83% of growth in our workforce today comes from immigrants and the children of immigrants. They make up 18% of our workforce already. And with 10,000 baby boomers retiring a day, and the fact that we’re an aging population, means that immigrants are going to be the future of our workforce.”
