Upwardly Global is thrilled to welcome R.J. Fox, Vice President of Growth, Performance, and Operations at LinkedIn, to the Upwardly Global Board. Under his leadership, LinkedIn has been a key Upwardly Global partner for years, providing immigrant and refugee job seekers with expansive digital tools and networks. As Upwardly Global grows its services to include critical advances in technology, R.J. will be a vital advisor to the team.

For over eight years, R.J. has worked at LinkedIn to strengthen strategic marketing efforts for the company, leading product marketing for LinkedIn’s Recruiter product, and launching and scaling the LinkedIn Learning business in product marketing and growth marketing roles. Prior to LinkedIn, he served as a Senior Analyst at Korn Ferry International, supporting the Financial Officers Practice’s strategic growth initiatives.

Beyond his vice president role at LinkedIn, R.J. is drawn to support mission-driven organizations like Upwardly Global. Currently, he also serves on the advisory board for Ameelio, a nonprofit working to improve the U.S. correctional system through technology.

R.J. gained his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Southern California and a Master of Business Administration from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. When out of the office, you can find him spending time with his two young kids, learning to play the piano, and going out on his local river to fish.
