Mindi Cox is O.C. Tanner’s Chief Marketing and People Officer.
With over two decades at O.C. Tanner, a leading force in refugee hiring and inclusion, Mindi has dedicated her career to fostering workplace cultures that connect employees with a deeper sense of purpose and impact. Her accolades, including Silicon Slopes’ Chief People Officer of the Year in 2023 and recognition by the Stevie® Awards and Utah Business Magazine, underscore her commitment to excellence.
Mindy has championed Upwardly Global’s work-based learning for refugees. Most recently, in September 2023, O.C. Tanners’ Influence Greatness Conference showcased Upwardly Global and NewYork-Presbyterian’s collaboration, which was designed to bring immigrant and refugee talent into the healthcare industry.
Leveraging her global network and expertise, Mindi aims to continue raising awareness on workforce inclusion and connecting people around Upwardly Global’s mission. She has already been featured in the media to highlight what companies can do to support refugee inclusion in the workforce. Mindi also serves on the board of the University of Utah David Eccles School of Business.
