Sura

Sura is originally from Iraq, but lived as a refugee in Syria. In Syria, she studied medicine, completed her residency, and practiced medicine as a licensed physician. She resettled in Chicago in 2014, but she couldn’t get a job in the medical field and worked in an administrative role. In 2020, Sura passed the last three steps of the US Medical Licensing Exam, but she struggled to match for residency.
