Simeneh from Ethiopia is seeking employment as a Paralegal or in a legal related position within a litigation firm. Simeneh is a Legal professional and educator with nine years of experience in diverse areas of law, including Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law. She holds a Bachelor of Law, from Addis Ababa University Faculty of Law, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, along with several L.L.M Degrees from various countries including the U.S., Japan, and South Africa.

Adeniyi has four years of experience in employee recruitment, retention and training within his native Nigeria. He holds a Bachelors of Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University, where he graduated with honors. Adeniyi has a keen understanding of using incentives to motivate and retain talent during challenging economic times.

Eliza from the Philippines is seeking a Trade Support or Product Control position within a lending investment bank or management consulting firm. Eliza is a Banking professional with nine years experience with Deutsche Bank and HSBC, where she specialized in product control for equity derivatives, client service and treasury operations. She also has a wealth experience in corporate transaction banking and as a Product Controller for London-based equity derivative trading desks. Eliza earned a Master's Degree in Management from Asian Institute of Management (AIM), Manila, Philippines, and is a Recipient of the AIM Washington SyCip Scholarship.

Krystyna has 11 years experience in Poland as a manager within a variety of sectors including insurance, real estate, and corporate marketing. She currently wants to focus on helping corporations and buildings to become "green" and to take advantage of the accompanying tax credits. Fluent in English, Polish, and Russian, she holds a Bachelors of Management and Marketing, as well as an MBA in Finance.

Success Stories
Chukuyem was a senior accountant in Nigeria and was at the end of his rope in trying to find work in the U.S. Through the organization's extensive employer network, Upwardly Global learned about a job opening at Tyronne Sellers CPA and was able to help Chukuyem secure the position of Junior Auditor in this growing company. Chukuyem left his survival job as a security guard and he is excited about bringing his 10 years of experience in the accounting industry to his new role.
Aminou, a project manager from Togo with seven years of experience, has successfully re-entered the nonprofit field, allowing him to resign from a survival job as a mail clerk. His unwavering motivation and full participation in Upwardly Global jobseeker's program have helped him to secure a position as a Project Officer at the Vera Institute of Justice, where he is applying his fundraising, relationship building and project /team management skills as well as using his multilingual abilities.
Dilip from India recently joined H&R Block as a Senior Accountant, after intially working with them on a contract basis. Dilip brings 16 years of experience in the banking and finance realm, primarily with the Bank of India where he served in positions as Foreign Exchange Officer and Deputy Manager of the Loans and Foreign Exchange Department. Dilip holds a Bachelor Degree of Commerce, in Advanced Accounting, and graduated with honors, from the University of Calcutta, in Calcutta, India.
Iyob from Eritrea recently accepted a position as a Post-doctoral Research Associate, with the Fisheries and Wildlife Department of Michigan State University. Iyob will bring his extensive experience in teaching, research and curr culum development to his new position. He holds a PhD in Fisheries Biology and Management from the Aquaculture and Fisheries Group, at Wageningen University, in The Netherlands.
