Jennifer Perez-Brennan, Policy and Systemic Change Initiatives Manager (Chicago)
Jennifer Perez-Brennan's work at Upwardly Global focuses on mapping requirements for professional licensing and credentialing for ease of use by immigrants, helping to identify specific barriers to licensing for foreign-educated individuals, and developing recommendations for remediation with national, state and local partners. Jennifer has applied her skills in research, training, communications, strategic planning, and program management to a variety of roles, working in refugee resettlement, policy research and evaluation, teaching and translating, and small business consulting. She holds an M.B.A. from the University of Quebec in Montreal and a B.A. in Political Science and French from the University of Michigan. Jennifer has experienced immigration firsthand over nearly a decade of residence in the Dominican Republic and other countries. She speaks Spanish and French.
